The Virus can 'do' bass....all synths can do bass - its just that true analog monosynths do it alot more convincingly.....and since bass is one of those aspects which can sell a million records (well back in the 80's it did)....then I suggest you seriously look into getting a dedicated bass synth. By all means use a virus for bass....but I'd take
THESE type of bass sounds over anything a virus could make....
