The Jupiter 8 was an amazing synth that's still highly sought after. Roland should just reproduce the original keyboard, they'd sell like crazy. Guess it's not as easy as that. I'm told the new Jupiter-80 is really a rompler? Bizarre they would do that.
The main reason I never bought the Arturia synth is really that I hate dongle dependent synths. Pain in the arse.
