Default CD production software?

OK - lets say I have an hour or so long wav file thats a continuous mix of several tracks, its been mastered, now I need to go stick track index markers in it and do all the other crap related to burning a master CD.

Anyone suggestions for any good cheap software for a PC to do this?

I dont need it to do any audio related processing, just properly produce the master CD and have a means of importing/typing in the track index marks, so it can logically split the audio tracks out of the original single wav at the marker points and stick the appropriate gaps (zero length in this case) in it.

What do people use for this? Can something like nero do it in a useful manner?

Thanks
