It is not usb2, its usb2 compatible. Which basically means you can plug it into a usb2 port and it will work fine. It is infact usb1 spec and speed, meaning 12mb/s. Yes, I agree It SHOULD of been usb2 or firewire from the beginning and allowed all 16 chans of audio instead of 2/3 but there you go, maybe an upgrade later on or TI-2.
