Great. I'd been checking SonicState everyday during and after NAMM but, after checking again yesterday after being on holiday for four days without internet access, I had given up hope! SonicState always take ages to upload Access Music NAMM vids for some reason. Bah!

Anyway, in short:

• Two new, fully assignable ADSTR envelopes available (not before time!)
• XFade (crossfade) filter types, morphing between LP<>BP<>HF in four versions (1/2/4/6-pole).
• Smooth Varislope filter types, morphing between 1<>6pole slopes in three versions (LP/BP/HF) each with adjustable knee sensitivity.

The "peaking filter" (1-pole XFade) is a great addition. I always loved the peaking-filter type on the Roland Grooveboxes which worked along a very similar concept. In the past I've always mimicked it on the Virus by using both filters in parallel mode, the first one being a low-pass left wide open, and the second being a band-pass, and then modulating the bandpass cutoff (without cutoff link) so it peaks above the underlying signal when resonance is used.
