Not really, Reason has never supported external instruments. The only way to integrate Reason with other bits of kit is by using
Rewire & going through a DAW.

You can get audio in to allow you to make use of the new live sampling feature, I've got Reason 4 which doesn't have this so I can't explain to you how you would do this. Read the manual to learn how.

It does what it's designed to do, that is be a powerful self contained virtual synth rack & sequencer. It is very good at what it does.

You will not get your Virus to work with Reason unless you use another DAW. You may however, be able to make arrangements using pre-recorded audio from the Virus if you use
Record, I've never used it myself but it looks like it's an audio sequencer & it does come with Reason 5 doesn't it?

Do that, but don't be too upset when they tell you Reason does not support any external instruments.
