You'll get your head round the midi set up quite easily. If there's a c going for a decent price then pick it up. Although you mentioned not been satisfied your self and unless you get the best, the ti, you wont be. It has so much more.

My TI has made me lazy, I've got a nord rack 2 & a ks station, they both sound great but never get a look in as I never leave my Ti (apart from a few Vst's).

The nord is a much more basic and simpilar piece of kit. No sub menues or screens to hunt through every feature is a knob or button on it's surface.
