Runs fine in Cubase 5 occasionally loses clock sync. It has killer sounds and is capable of some incredible tones. It will not replace every plugin, but theres some sounds the Virus does better then any other hardware or software synth. Learn to work with it and you will be fine, it may take some time to adjust your workflow but I feel in the end it is worth it, particuarly if you are a trance producer.
