Agreed, very retro 80's sound. I like the 80's sound personally but you kind of have to be Gen-X or older or a hardcore synthhead to appreciate it. For whatever reason, creating 80's sounding synthpop comes very easy for me so it takes a lot to impress me.
One song I heard the other day is "Living On Video" by Trans-X. I heard that on satellite and it reminded me now badly I need to do a more modern trance remix of this song (currently in progress-- man this song is fun to work with
. I just gotta figure out how to work the rez-laser sounds into a modern remix.. lol
