Hello NoLie6

Ok – automatically is not quite the correct word. This is what I do:

1) Create a software instrument track for the TI. Record some MIDI into it.
2) Reroute the output of Virus TI track to (for example) Bus 1.
3) Create a new stereo Audio track.
4) Change the input of the Audio track to be Bus 1
5) Place Song Position before the MIDI data starts and press record.

If you want to record from outputs 2 and 3, then after setting up the two extra Aux channels in the mixer, make sure their output is routed to Bus 1 (or whichever bus you’d like).

My audio device for all of this is an Edirol UA-25. I do not use the Virus as an audio device.

In reply to the last part of your message, I didn’t have to do anything on the Virus Common page. The only time I touch the VC during this example is to select the patch per part, and route the output of the part to USB 1, 2 or 3.
