i had the exact same question when TI first came to world...and found out that its a limitation in Logic (Cubase is fine tho)...


so this is what i do when I am in VC mode in Logic Pro:
-- create a screen set in Logic (lets say 1) and display VC.
-- each time you want to mute a track. press "1" and mute any VC track.
thats all..
