I've lived in a lot of different states in the U.S., and I can assure you that the English language is butchered differently from region to region.

My father is from Georgia, a southern state known for a very distinct rural twangy dialect.

My mother is from Rheinzabern, Germany and her English is influenced by her native tongue.

So, in a pinch I can mimic locals just about anywhere. My wife's family is from New Jersey, pronounced "Joisey." They tell my wife that she has a southern accent, which I don't hear at all. We accuse them of having a Yankee accent, and they deny it.

I honestly try to enunciate syllables correctly when I speak as I give presentations regularly as part of my work and I don't want to sound any more like a fool than necessary. And through all that effort, I must admit although I don't have a formal accent of any American variety, I am afflicted with a jarbled blend of every dialect I've ever been exposed to!

Arrrrrrrrrrgggghhhh!!!

Juho, you're English is probably as good or better than mine, damn it!
