i'm an honourary south african and was thrilled to see the best team of the tournament join australia as the only nation to have twice held the cup. not only was open, imaginative and creative rugby rewarded, but a lovely result all round in terms of south african unity during difficult times.
oh and any sport where england gets the shit kicked out of them by a former colonial possession is naturally uber-enjoyable
