Bah. Teachers don't get long enough holidays.

It was nice to see so many of my students actually turned up once again for the new term. Been teaching this group for 3½ years now. "The Faithful Fourteen" are always good for a laugh (and decent Christmas prezzies).

Tonight we were talking about how it's cheaper to buy a new DVD player or even dishwasher than it is to have the fucker repaired.

Is it any coincidence that the word "mended" is pronounced "men-did"?

Exactly. So next time she dings the car, you can tell your mates "The car's been woman-did."
