I used to live in Duisburg in the late 80's. Was working for Mannesmann DEMAG teaching English and proof reading. Great job, but Ruhrgebiet not my cup of tea. Fell asleep on that fucking S-Bahn a couple of times on the way home from D?sseldorf and spent some lovely nights in Dortmund fucking Bahnhof.
Finnish is tricky mate. I can speak great Herman, but Finnish remains an enigma. Speak decent Swedish (just like kraut) but not very useful in this part of the country. Some parts of Finland are Swedish speaking, but not here.
