Dont think I would ever have the balls to move somewhere else permanently. Grew up in Cheltenham..South west England..
But Reading is more my place as my sister lives there..
I came over to Germany back in 1986 with the British Army did a stint in Northern Ireland in 88 came back to Germany,left the Army in 91 and have lived in Germany ever since working for a Brewery here in Dortmund...I have me English telly over here and hang round with loads of Brits which is great...I also Speak German like i do English so i can take the piss out the Hermans..(Matsa!! you speak finnish??)
Alot has changed since i left England For example Poll tax was just starting,i think its called council tax now...
There was also no CCTV when i left and the crime rate wasn't half as bad as it is now and as Ten says immigrants fucking everywhere..Its scary to even think about coming back....Will i Die with a Bratwurst in my hand or a bag of Fish and chips....?
