Works fine for me aswell. I use it in the same way, except when it comes to the bounce i use the digital outputs.
I've never had any experience of external hardware before buying the TI, so was a bit sceptical after everything i had read about it in the past.
Damn i love this thing! I've even uninstalled a lot of the old soft synths now.
