I've no idea, but my initial thoughts would be.... heavy tape- or valve-saturation, narrow frequency bandwidth filtering, guitar amplifier cabinet simulation and/or mic-simulation, bags of low-end with muffled high-freqs, definately distortion, vinyl crackle and 45rpm record 'warping' maybe, and a flattering voice (think Richard Burton - War Of The Worlds), a posh english "BBC" or
Chumley Warner accent.
