I was in Prague during Euro-2004, had a great time in a bar filled with all nationalities, my buddies and I were the only three English people in there.
We watched the England-Portugal game, we lost it of course but on the way out of the bar we were followed by several Portugese for about a quarter of a mile taunting us.
If we had kicked off, no doubt we would have got the blame, we're English after all.
We chose to ignore them, go to another fine Praha bar and sample some more fine fine beer.
