Its good to have another member on this board who's owned/used analog synths.....
Im not exactly clear where our difference of opinion lies. Personally I still think that a true analog synth should command a higher price than a software based product - with Moog gear you never get real value for money....but you do get better re-sale value in the long run
I actually really like the Pro1...but not everyone likes CEM....bit dry and sometimes sterile...but its gritty and more biting than almost anything else. Does the Jen use CEM...i think it does. Do you like Mono-Poly's? I love the smooth warmth of SSM chips....perfect contrast to the Pro1
CS80 for certain types of sounds probably would blow away most other synths....the DX1...I must admit I do love them - im currently using a DX7MKII FD for my FM pleasure
