They went total integration (usb2 filter bank). 
Ok, I guess the Q+ and AFB were too expensive and too many people judged synths by how fat supersaw kind of leads they can do which is sad. Not every good sound is fat. Waldorf synths can do some really beautiful sounds. |
i would disagree,
i think the development of the analog filter and software were a financial risk which eventualy failed... they were not able to sell enough units to cover this loses so shit happends...
