At first I purchased the TI Polar because I wanted to take it with me when doing live shows...But then I decided not to! For a few reasons...

1. Pops & Clicks...I don't really care when I'm at home, but in 30k watts of sound, this might be not too good.

2. Once or twice I got a VERY loud and piercing noise(I believe this is what happens when one of the chips crashes)...I was wearing headphones and it was TERRIBLE. I would definately get sued if this would happen in a club.

3. The Polar looks sooo clean and nice...I don't feel like taking the risk that something bad happens

4. The VC is not 100% reliable yet...I wouldnt use it for live act but for the home studio it's fine(for now).
