24/96 all the way with the frame buffer on full (2048 samples). this means i cannot play anything in realtime and the 96khz sample rate kills cpu cycles in FL studio so i can only ever really get 1 or 2 instrument sounds in realtime.
But this is OK because i rarely run anything in realtime - i typically bounce everything from separate instrument project files and import all the wavs into a master project file where i reassemble everything and work out whats wrong and where.
24/96 does offer a noticeable difference and you get a fucktonne more dynamic range working in 24/32 bit internal float.
