The old reveal Actives (which I have) are supposed to be decent "reference" monitors, not sure if they have gone for the same thing with these new ones.

my housemate has a pair of the older model reveal passives - i find the detail in the mid-high range very appealing but of course they lack bass response. the new 8Ds seem to have addressed this issue
tannoys seem to have such a linear response....
however - when the dynaudio are so widely used in the industry and there is not much difference in price - it is hard to choose otherwise.
basically something has to prove itself to be better than the bm6s or that what i will be getting...
