Niether. I just play straight from the keyboard on the thing.
Although with some of those demos on my soundclick page, I recorded straight into the sampler, then triggered the samples with an appegiator, but running the outputs of the sampler back into the CS10's input - got a double pass of the filters that way and also gave me a computer synced feel. It's actually a reasonable keyboard to play live (for bass of course).
That
is pretty steep for one Jase. I got mine in mint condition (never loses tune at all and no scratchy knobs or anything) with an original hard case for around $120aus if I remember correctly - fucking bargin though!!! Recently the prices do seem to be going up on them for sure, but still $450us is pricey.
Maybe let me know before the next ausi trip as it's too late to grab one now.
I have to stop in at Sydney before heading to my home town, so maybe we could work something out.
EDIT: Of course as the PSUs are inside the things, you'd have to grab a transformer or something if buying from overseas Jase.
