Ha! I would say your ears need checking. I've heard ProTools, Logic, DP, Live, and Cubase through Digi, Apogee, and MOTU D/A, and on 3 different sets of monitors (KRK, Mackie, and NS-10's). On a *really* good day, you can hear a change when switching D/A converters. I've never met anyone who could blindly hear the difference betwen DAW programs.
