It's a matter of taste. Not huge differences. Fantom has better sampling section and the piano is
excellent (includes the resonance emulation of the new Roland stage pianos), Motif has better electric pianos. But on the other sections it's quite even battle. I'd recommend trying them out by yourself, because it's really a matter of taste.
I personally dig Roland stuff (nice full and fat samplings), so I'd probably get the Fantom.
