My interest in the N2 started back in summer 2000. I went into a music shop and had a play around on some keyboards......well the N2 was the first synth I ever touched/heard in the flesh. Since then Ive always wanted to get one. The truth is...im a little sick of waiting for synths to be released....and right now i have very itchy fingers. The Virus TI will be a nice synth sure......but I feel uneasy buying into the first couple of batches.

The N2X is a very nice synth. I like it for a number of reasons. Firstly, in my opinion it has the most satisfying unprocessed sound of any VA....and second....its quite a simple synth. Dont get me wrong....its very powerful in a versatile sense......but the truth is....sometimes when a synth is bristling with 101 features it becomes a headfuck. With the N2 you can make very good, useable sounds within a minute or two. With the Virus it def takes longer.....partly because your always tweaking the 101 available paramters lol.

Right now, I just need a versatile, simple polyphonic synth. As I say...the Virus Ti will be an end of summer purchase (by which time any problems will hopefully have been identified). Best of both worlds.

The SynthWizard has some advice - Back in the 1980's music was better, TV was better, films were better. Not to mention fashion.... Let me help you relive the past with some classic 80's sounds from my vintage synth collection....
