so i finally got my arse into gear and uploaded a new song - hooray! or part of it anyway. its the first 1 and 1/2 minutes of a tune im working on - its sort of psytrance but edging slightly more towards a proggy kind of trance:

this doesnt have my virus in it because i still cant monitor it although there is pad and a 303 line that are absent from this demo because they sound messed up. so i filled in the gaps with a synapse hydra vst and its plugging it fairly well for now. im trying to come up with a workaround. other than that, i wouldnt mind getting a teeny bit of feedback. in particular id like to know whats wrong with it
made in fl studio 5.0
the pads and 303ish lead are both vanguard
the bassline is made in hydra (i wanted to change this for the virus cuz that sounds tighter)
the dialogue was sampled from the film 'thirteen'
the kicks and effects are composites of freebie samples off the net but beefed up with extra layers compression, EQ and effects. the hats are freebies also but i didnt do much to them cept add a touch of reverb and move them around in stereo a bit.
all effects are internal fruity with + that freebie inspector spectrum analyser that someone on this forum recommended not long ago - its good!
