I'm another Mac user who never tried Logic, i produce with LEGAL Cubase5.1
that i paid for, and it seems to be the most stable sequencer that i ever used.
I will upgrade to Cubase SX or Logic only if those sequencers will have some
really revolutionary new options that will make my producing process much
easier, faster and more intuitive, till then i'll keep working with Cubase5.1
Btw, once you get used to MacOS its hard swapping over to windoze...
It doesn't really matter what sequencer you use, because it's all about using
your sequencer intuitively. And it takes some time, but if you will upgrade
everytime when new version comes out - you will loose that time.
