You need to make sure that the Virus is recieving clock from your sequencer.

There is a setting in the ARP/System menu in the Virus which says something like:

1 MIDI
Clock Rx Auto (This is what you should select)

Sometimes it does sound as if the arpeggios are a bit out of time, sometimes this is due to poor performance/timing on behalf of the musician (Im out of time alot!) and sometimes it is just a glitch with your sequencer/hardware.....if it is a glitch, stopping the sequence and then starting again can help, and you can always quantize the pattern later to lock it to the correct time.

A small c symbol should appear on the Virus if it is recieving MIDI clock from your sequencer. There are also a number of steps given in the manual for correct setup of the Virus when using with sequencers.....
