Hmmm....far from average actually. For the price they just cant be beaten
Very cheap (come down in price recently) but very good performance. You will need a dead silent pc though....as the converters are housed on the card itself.
In my opinion, the best solution for sensible money is the M-Audio Delta 1010. Superb sound quality and features.
