I think you would be better off buying something like Reason, or BFD if you are just looking for drums. And then maybe a couple of sample/loop CD's......From what I can tell, these electribe things are not that great. I think they are trying to compete with the Roland Groove box type device.

And why Lo-Fi??? Aim a bit higher.....you will just waste money and need to upgrade later.....And a KC is certainly capable of a lot more than just Lo-Fi. I reckon go for a Cubase/Reason package (or similar). Combine that with the KC, and THEN you have a decent package capable of creating very good music (depending on your commitment and dedication).

Gosh.....I tend to go off topic a bit.
