That's even stranger than strange...
Dou you use an old computer like a pentium I 100 Mhz or what? What soundcard. I've used about 30 tracks in some of my arrangements + audio and that works pretty fine. To be honest I really hate sequencing on computers since there's always problems of some kind. If I had your setup I would sure be crazy.
