I dont usually use the virus like this, but Im out of town and just brought my laptop and virus with me for audio tinkering. everything is fine in my daw ... But when i play music in any player on...

You don't have to do anything with the extra...

You don't have to do anything with the extra outputs.
You can however, if you want to - send one or more of your 16 possible parts out to a different audio bus.
Why? Thats up to you. ;)
