ADSR Envelope(s) for Human Voice Synthesis...?

is there a certain way to have an ADSR envelope setup to mimic a generic human voice (male and/or female, or diff envelopes for each)?

or would it vary depending on the base vowel sound you wanted...

I guess it would come down to the needs of the project or style you're working on at the time... but for most electronic genres (especially dnb ;) ), would you say that compressors are a necessary...
