Virus KB OS 4.52 to 4.90

Can anyone tell me what the difference between virus OS 4.5.2. and OS 4.90 is for the KB? I just got my KB and noticed there's a more recent OS, and I wonder if it's worth the trouble of upgrading.

OK, I can program it into a sequencer. But how do I upload it to the synth again?

My ultimate goal is to make new arpeggiator patterns in the same way that whoever made the existing arpeggiated...
