i noticed when i change my sound on the virus i also need to change the sound in the patch name within that chanel in the program SX otherwise it will reset the virus when i press stop and play...

just a possibility, your headphones might be damaged. try pulling the headphone cord out of the socket a little and see if you can hear out of both sides....just a thought. hope you get it...
