Sync Ti2 Desktop to Drum Machine & Controller

Hi,

I am trying to sync my Virus Ti2 desktop to a Roland TR-8.... so the TR-8 acts as the master clock and the Virus as the slave.

This is easy with a synth keyboard, as the midi out of the TR-8...

Virus causing latency in Ableton

Whenever I have a Virus VST instrument loaded in Ableton I have sever latency on any live instrument that I record (guitar, vocals etc).

Exporting a song with Virus channels from Ableton

I'm pretty new to the Virus TI and Ableton, so apologies for my novice question.

I've set up a song in Ableton in the Arrange View with 8 Virus Midi Channels (plus various audio channels)....
