Quiet Virus TI using Control

Also anyone know why the volume is so damn quiet when going through the usb? Virus pumps out volume using the balanced out but usb is annoyingly quiet.

Constant square wave in multi mode?

I have a Virus TI Polar and whenever I hook it up directly to my mpc 1000, I get an annoying square wave sound that plays everytime i play any key. It doesnt matter what midi channel I have it set...
