Just use one of the 'Touch' or 'Latch' automation...

Just use one of the 'Touch' or 'Latch' automation modes in the Logic channel u r using. Mod wheel movment will be recorded in midi like the notes, but the rest is using latch, touch in the automation...

If u use a Mac, u can always download a program called Audio Hijack8)
Just select ur web browser from the Audio Hijack list and go to the Access web site, press record on Hijack then start play on...
