gentle keys/plucks

good evening! recently got my virus ti. i'm a beginner in synthesis, so sorry for this question. does anybody have (know how to make) gentle keys patches like you can hear in such tracks like tycho-dive, helios-The Obeisant Vine in the beginning. i write something like liquid dnb, with a bit "shoegazy" sounds & vocals, adding much reverberation, so will be very glad if you'll give me some, or tell how to make such patches. thank you.)

I don't have a TI, but I do own several analog mono's and a Virus KB. If you're new to synthesis in general, I'd suggest checking a few sources to learn the basics of subtractive synthesis first- before attempting to create a sound. You could just start twisting some knobs, but it would help you out alot to know exactly what does what. I've only been playing for a little over a year, so I'm not the guy to teach, however, I found a book and several websites with tutorials that were invaluable to my learning experience. I will say, what you're decribing seems to be more a function of the EG's, starting with a slow attack. Good luck.

Thank You, Rick! i think I know some "basic" basics, like ADSR-envelopes, meanings of the knobs, lfo's, soundings of some waveforms, but i always stuck, when trying to make a sound by myself from init. I use to just take presets that are close to the sound i want to use and change it. surely, i'll try to learn further, but there're so many ideas right now, that's why i asked for help) i'm afraid all this ideas and feelings will be gone if i spend much time on learning now))
