Creating Uplifters

The vengance sample CD is full off uplifters, you know the sort I'm talking about that bring in some "riser" before the drop.

Just need a little advice on creating them. Once I have my base sound, setting the filter to the maximum, and using the envelope filters then set the attack pretty high, a little beyond the half way mark should this suffice?

I'm basing this on ear only. I've not actually read any articles or videos on how to do this. I just can't get it to sound right. Maybe I'm doing wrong.

Anyway, anyone know how to create them? Or a little advice on where to look (I hate spoon feeding, a few pointers should suffice :p).

Thanks

this is a pitch LFO technique that ought to get you going.

change up your waveforms assing lfo -> cutoff for different flavors

_____
LFO to osc pitch +127

LFO symmetry -127 (or whatever value takes you to the bottom of the lfo cycle)

LFO speed set to about 12 (or a really low value)

LFO keytrigger (or lfo start) to medium value

Hold note

Any links (youtube, etc) to specific sounds you're thinking of GV? I'm just a little unsure what you mean.
