Personally I'd hit that no problem, I just wouldn't let her near any musical gear while I was around. Its not like she's coyote ugly or anything. ;) |
I guess she's too interesting, no chance of learning how they got that sub bass type bass huh ?
I know its a crap song, but I still wanna know how stuff is done...Is it really not at all worth knowing about the production techniques used ?And then maybe apply that to some better original music ? Please Guys :) |
MBTC, i suggest you do a ye olde wiki/tube crawl, and check out some of the other singles shes released. Truly fucking awful stuff, offensive for anyone who gives a shit about good dance, let alone good music. I've been lucky enough to interview some people, who I have respected and followed throughout their careers, in my brief time in radio and it's an enriching experience. Lucky for me I got out of a situation where I would have had to lie through my teeth to get the interview done satisfactorily.
And if hitting up romanian hookers is your vibe, then go for your life. Personally I prefer women who dont have to be shot through a lens filter and six kilos of makeup to appear zomghawt. Sorry nutrino, but I derailed your thread, and I dont have the answer you want either :). My apologies. |
Was just having some fun with the thread really. The music is top rate crap, and was joking about her (not really into the overall look, particularly makeup or hair), but I didn't see any evidence that she was a prostitute (any more than any other published musical artist is at least), so that seems a bit like profiling every female that comes out of a particular country. People had the same reaction to Madonna in the early 80s, and I still don't care for her music or makeup job but she can buy and sell you, me or anyone here these days, so if your thing is radio interviews its more professional not to burn bridges in the industry, that was my point.
Nutrino, sorry for my part in the thread diversion work but I don't have an answer for you either. Sounds like relatively simple sines to me as you pointed out, with a little EQ work to make it stand out. I couldn't find anything special or identifying about it. |
If my above post ever has any bearing on my job whatsoever, i will personally buy you a Virus TI.

A few years back I was technical director on a project I was staffing for (this was a six figure USD position), and a resume landed in my inbox from a guy I knew from about 8 years back who had recently been laid off and was looking for work. I silently shitcanned his resume because I remembered what a primadonna prick he was to work with. He missed the opportunity but he never directly felt the pain, and I suspect got a different job that took a few months to realize the mistake they made hiring him. My point is that even if it impacted or hindered your career in large amounts, you would never be aware of the root cause. Opportunity cost is something nobody will ever send you a printed invoice for. Not telling you how to manage your career, but it is always & unconditionally better to not burn bridges professionally, especially in the entertainment industry. |
