Camel Audio Plugins
I've been using Camelphat for a few months now and really loving the LFO and filter functions, so took the plunge and bought Camelspace, and Alchemy as well - downloading the sample banks today so hoping to get home and get stuck in to it. Any other Alchemy or Camel Audio users here on the forum, and if so what are your thoughts or tips/tricks on the plugins?

Just got CamelPhat and Alchemy via the group buy. Haven't played with it much but it would seem to be a good compliment to the Virus.
Definitely interested in tips/tricks too |
Camelphat is good, its actually more usefull than it is amazing sounding. Camelspace is really not my bag. It just sounds too digital and the reverb on it is horribly metalic.
For sound mangling, I much prefer the Audio Damage plugins. I´ve heard good things about Alchemy though... |
Personally like the alchemy plugins and the group buy nearly had me tempted. It is older and I believe their are better effects out there as it's fairly dated now. Personally I like the FabFilters but they do need some taming on the prestes. However check my link out before you shell out for plugins - there are some great freebies....

I haven't dug too deeply into camelspace but for making glitchy background loops ala Ghost in The Shell etc it's quite cool and theres definitely some power behind it.
I'm still trying to wrap my brain around Alchemy and its modulation and importing options, being the synth genius I am :S. |
Im definitely with Hobbit as well on the FabFilter plugin range....
absolutely brilliant... |
