Guitar Pedals and Synth Distortion

Hello folks...
Im looking to acquire a few guitar pedals to run the Virus and other virtual synths through to get some real analog distortion and saturation on my sounds...
Any suggestions on the bestest and fatest ones of the bunch would be much appreciated!

Hi Sonix. :) I know it's not what you asked, but on the software side of things iZotope Trash is pretty darned good.

I to would like a good tube distortion, maybe a rack mount maybe a pedal. And a good Analog multimode filter ie-lp,bp,notch,hp

Take a look at the moog filters - not exactly guitar pedals, however, will definately take you to a different vibe and nice analogue filters/distortions ;)
NI Guitar Rig is 2nd to none in plugins for me, I am sure others will dispute its all personal taste and hearing ;)
