studio set up question
urrgggghhhh...the mrs is gonna kill me..... lol
ive caught the hardware bug.... i have always been 100% software yes its lazy and yes its easy...but hey you gotta start somewhere...and i gotta say people aint too frendly in shops when you dont know ya midi from your audio..... lol ive just brought a Roland JV 1080 and a mo phatt, but then relaised...dam. i only have a 2 channel mixer and the m audio sound card which to runs my virus kc via midi and mixer anyone know the cheapest and effective way around this.....so i can blag the mrs. I defo still wanna edit/use all via midi as im using sound quest to update my snizzle. if it dont make much sense i apologise in advance... im new to the hardware game but lovin it... more than porn....at the min...well maybe not as much as porn but close... lol :) |
Cheap option would be an audio patch bay - about 40-80 quid *UK, not really worth paying anymore than that, will help routing but you will need to move those patch leads for the signal.
Cheap Mackie mixer something like a tapco. A good multi input soundcard for less than 500quid would be an Echo Audiofireface. Cheapo pop down to maplins for a cheap dj mixer ;) Can have great fun with sounds and beats with a cross fade when creating music ;) |
