Heres what I found about it....


Retriggering is a tracker technique in which a sample is replayed a set number of times within a certain timeframe.


Ok ...cool.

But can someone explain to me how retrigger is useful in the virus ??

As far as I can understand from reading things about it, it makes the sound do different things when you press different keys right ?

So to keep it simple lets say I have a normal "wobble" bass. but I wanted it to do somthing different when I pressed the second midi note.( I belive its called "call and answer" or somthing similar ???)

Is this when I would use retrigger ??
