running vocals through virus
anybody know how I can run a vocal sample through the virus? I want to use the virus' fx features on the vocals but I have no clue how to make the sample run through the virus first, any help would be much appreciated!

Use a factory input patch or create your own and run your cables into the input.

Go to ROM-B 125 >>Input<< - at this point, you should hear your audio going through the TI. Check your levels to make sure you have a nice hot signal (there is an Input page in the Config menu of the TI if you need to adjust the input sensitivity or do any boosting, and a second page if you want to toggle the analog inputs/SPDIF inputs, or adjust for phono inputs) Start experimenting with FX and filters! |
And to make it more interesting just fire up the Atomiser...

Hey, great. Now I know whats all about the special patch >>INPUT<<.
But there a two more special patches: - START - INIT In no documentation there is any mention what is that. I search e.g. for INPUT in the quick and reference pdf of my snow, as well as the the user manual of the virus ti. No match. With INIT I assume it is a empty patch or just a very simple sound. |
--INIT-- is the initial default virus patch..Every synth has one,it's the starting point where you can start sculpting your sounds from the ground up
|
Start or Init are very simple sounds that you can utilize when you want to make a patch from scratch

Fantastic!! Thanks a ton, I'm gonna go try it out right now!
