How to use the new "VCA" architecture for gating effects?

Anyone know how to use and abuse this feature yet?

searching the new pdf manual doesn't come up with any reference for VCA

where did you get that info from ?

it simple. in older versions modulating patch volume wouldn't only change the pre fx levels. since 3.0 it does it post fx. check some of the demo patches from ben crosland installed with OS 3. actually those patches you should play anyway, they are great and all i used for song you can listen when you launch the microsite, clicking on the "learn more" link of the access music index page.
